Jen's Den

Providing kindness, compassion & mental wellbeing

Some of you will remember that we raised money to support the Jenna Wilkins Foundation last year by wearing something colourful. The Jenna Wilkins Foundation has two main goals which are: Supporting students who most need it and helping those with cancer feel better. The foundation supports schools by providing equipment and projects to children with additional needs.  I am delighted to announce that Chigwell Row were selected to have our very own Jen’s Den! As a fully inclusive school, we have children with a variety of needs and Jen’s Den provides a place of peace and calm for anybody who is feeling overwhelmed and in need of some space and time. The children will be visiting our woodland themed den over the next few weeks and there will be an official opening after half term. I would like to personally thank the Jenna Wilkins Foundation for our beautiful Jen’s Den. It is truly an inspirational space where children are given the opportunity to be “brave enough to fly”. I will add lots of pictures of the den to Dojo today so please have a look. Please click on the link below to read Jenna’s story and find out for more information about this fantastic charity. We will be continuing to raise funds for the foundation throughout this year.
